Kenny has to have a crown put on his cracked molar. To cheer him up, I bought him some caramels topped with smoked sea salt... I swear that my intentions weren't as perverse as (I admit) they must appear.
For better or for worse, kittyclive, they are Fran's Chocolates -- made in Seattle. The stuff from Vosges looks great! We'll have to try them, at the very latest, the next time we're in Chicago!
I discovered the vary same Fran's Caramels awhile back and have been truly impressed! Caramel for a cracked molar though - was he actually able to enjoy them?!
In my defense, btw, I don't think I knew his molar was cracked when I purchased the caramels-- just that he was having a rough day, an appointment at the dentist, possibly needed a filling, etc.
I heard on the radio that today is "Chocolate Day" or something like that. I think that may just be my favorite day...
ReplyDeleteAre those Vosges chocolates? (one of my very favorite chocolatiers)
