Yesterday night, on the busride home with Clara after seeing
Lagerfeld Confidentiel, Ariel-- who had just seen
Meduzot (
Jellyfish) with her sister-- affectionately referred to me as a panda while still fresh in an obsessive chamber of my mind was the genius of Courtney's cheeseball:

.
Where on earth were you able to see Lagerfeld Confidential!?!?!?!? And was it as great as I suspect?
ReplyDeleteClara and I saw it at the Wisconsin Film Festival. I found the film to be wonderful and troubling. I'm afraid I'm not sure exactly what you might suspect about it, but I suspect you'd be into it.
ReplyDeleteAt the moment my only suspicion is that I'll be into it. WAY into it.
ReplyDeleteOff to find a copy...
After seeing the film, would you say Karl is a happy man?
ReplyDeleteThat cheeseball makes ME a happy man. . .
ReplyDeleteHOLD ON -- is this the same courtney that grew up with ken barnett, and made him one of my favorite pieces in the world out of beads, canvas, paint, and a story about a dead rabbit behind the washing machine?
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe it is that Courtney.
ReplyDeleteI've just spoken to kenny and we've decided that we'll never make anything in our entire lives as good as courtney's cheeseball.
ReplyDeleteCheck out her blog here: http://badneighborhoods.blogspot.com/
