  1. Is a sprouted onion still ok to eat? I've always wondered and can't imagine a reason why it wouldn't be as it makes it way from root vegetable to salad...

  2. I understand that you can eat the sprout. The bulb itself tends to be spent-- soft, unappealing, rottenish-- by the time the sprout has sprouted.
