More exuberant baby turnips.

So much broccoli for $1.

A handful of golden and chioggia beets.

Lacinato kale, which I prefer to call-- as I originally learned it-- dino kale.

An enormous kohlrabi (larger than a softball), for slaw and salads.

Potatoes.

The top of a stalk of Brussels sprouts, cut off to encourage the sprouts to grow, is a wonderful, collard-like green.

Tomatoes.

I paid too much for this "frost-sweetened spinach."

Normal-sized kohlrabi, for latkes which are currently a staple of our weekly menus.

I eat like royalty. I'm the luckiest guy on the near east side.
