Traditionally, mass market paperbacks aren't my thing-- are NOT my thing-- but I've come to take great delight in Kenneth's collection. What with the Software, the Alcott, the Star Wars, and the Hemingway all stacked upon one another; what with Lyndon Johnson resting on the Hammer of God just across the way from the Freud and the Candide and the Foundation and Algernon. And Andy Rooney and O'Neill, of course.

And you've really only scratched the surface there.

I'm coming over! MMPBs remind me of vacation, specifically the beach -- your pics smell like the ocean & is a bit gritty but salty clean -- & randomly rented bungalows. While waiting (solo) in Sri Lanka for my visa I asked the staff of my rooming house to open the MMPD book cabinet with a little key; sadly, most of the collection was in German. I made my way through the first couple of chapters of a WW1 novel whose name I've apparently blocked out.
