Not Quite What I'd Rather Be Doing But Almost

What I'm doing is just fine, but these sound nice too.
Occupying the upper half of one of these images-- dissolving into faint luminosity and hazy shadows-- now that's what I'd rather be doing.

In revisiting Beat Piece I can't help but think about how gravely misunderstood and challenged Ms. Ono must have felt during this period. The stereotype continues to suggest that her camp of visual artists are obsessed with some sort of cold, hyper-modern, icy and unapproachable way of living that is expressed in their work...when in reality the spirit of the work is rooted in a will to have people come together, love one another, and even lay atop one another to form that bond.

I find these pieces to be very intellectually and artistically rich. And the work, in conception or execution or both, can be so funny. Deeply touching stuff.
