You know what I'd like to comment: Hot! I spent my adolescence fantasizing about fellers like Brian T. Dykes. You mix that with this amazing narrative-- robbing the chapel in which you were just married and then honeymooning in jail-- and you have just about everything I ever wanted in a work of art.
I'm thinking a young Debralee Scott for Mindy. Or, if we don't have the budget to bring Scott back from the dead, perhaps Ginnifer Goodwin. I'd consider Samantha Morton if she'd gain 20 lbs. And any number of young rising stars if they'd gain 50 for the part. The Deputies will be played by Scott Michael Foster & Matt Czuchry (possibly Michael Pitt). I'm still working on Sheriff Ron Seals. If McDormand isn't available, we might check with Mary Jo Catlett in her late 40s.

Campbell County is trouble. Not Cocke County trouble, but trouble.

What is there, really, to say?
I'd like the film rights.

This is why songwriters read the papers for ideas. The Beatles song "A Day in the Life" is about that.
Wonder if the Wears Valley Voice will do some reporting on this. It'll run next to a review of that great new deli that has everything.
Brian T. Dykes............Justin Timberlake
Joyce Whaley..............Frances McDormand
Mindy.....................???
