macarons! tea sandwiches! petits fours! where are you?
At a wedding ceremony in Evanston. I adored the conceit of the refreshments served at the ceremony: champagne and sandwiches (savory & sweet). Isn't it a marvelous spread!? I ate an inordinate number of macarons!
How many is inordinate? I forgot to tell you: B. & I had panna cotta in your honor for my farewell dinner dessert. It was astounding!
Let's proceed this way: what would you consider to be an inordinate number?

Ha ha! In that case, I did not eat an inordinate number. But I do figure that I ate over $11 worth in retail value.
That's, like, two and a half macarons.
