The syrup for this lemonade is based on a fresh herbal infusion comprised primarily of mint with just a few leaves of basil and sage for a mysterious twist. I can't explain where the pink hue comes from here. One of the myths of pink lemonade's origins has a circus man making a batch using a tub in which acrobats had just washed their red tights. Perhaps it was something like that?
