This post is even better than TCM programming "Now, Voyager" on Mother's Day eve.
T: "Why is there so much French difficulty around pools?" (c.f. Ozon's Swimming Pool, Juliette Binoche in everything, and now this!)
I love the shot in Ma Mere-- just prior to the "Aaahh."-- of Huppert dipping her high-heeled foot in the pool to test the water. Terry's question is right on. I could ponder French difficulty around pools for weeks.
